Sony Vaio is here..

The Sony VIAO Netbook has plenty of charm, looks that could kill and claims to be the world’s lightest….so what’s the catch?

Fans of the Sony VIAO series, like Apple aficionados, are accustomed to shelling out more cash for their products. Ostensibly, this is not just because these products carry with them an air of sophistication, but because, like our grandma would say, they run “smooth, like buttah…cough, cough”.

The Sony VIAO P Series netbook is an 8-inch bundle of joy and like the rest of the line, carries with it a price tag that might make your eyeballs pop out of your head—$900. For a netbook? Well…Aside from its sharp looks, it is the world’s lightest 8-inch, clocking in at 1.4 pounds. It boasts a 1600 X 783 LED back lit XBRITE-ECO LCD display, a 1.33GH Intel processor, Windows Vista, 802.11n WiFi, 3G Wann, Blue tooth, 2GB of Ram and comes with a fully loaded GPS system. Well, at least this pretty little thing’s giving you GPS for that price.
